Bad Moon Café presents War in the Old World - Grotmas Special! 🎄🪓
Oi, you lot! It’s Grotmas time, so grab yer stabbiest standards and shiniest baubles. One glorious day, three bashy-bashy 2,000-point scraps of Warhammer: The Old World, with scenario special rules what are a bit mad (proper gobbo chaos, you’ll love it/curse it/argue with it).
Wot’s ‘Appening
System: Warhammer: The Old World
When: Saturday, 6th December, kick-off at 10:00 AM
Where: Bad Moon Café Borough, 159a Great Dover St, London SE1 4GZ
Battle Size: 2000 points (big enough to krump, small enough to leg it)
Board Size: 72" x 48" (plenty of room for festive “accidents”)
Grotmas Shenanigans (Special Rules… a bit bonkers, innit)
Expect bitey Grotmas weather, roll it on turn one, and any wizard miscast can flip it again. Scenarios are proper mad: Die Hard (one infantry boss goes vent-crawlin’ to pop up elsewhere), Home Alone (your deployment’s all trappy and nasty), Scrooged (Spirits hand out Hatred, Stubborn, or Terror). Terrain’s cruel too: buildings impassable/obscuring, forests Difficult, hills Obscuring, and anything Obscuring blocks line of sight even for big ’uns. Bring courage, cunning, and a festive scream!
Bringin’ Yer Army
Legal ladz: Anything from Forces of Fantasy, Ravening Hordes, and the Legacy PDFs, plus Armies of Infamy from any published Arcane Journal. Totally legit. Pinky promise.
Lookin’ proper: Armies should be painted to tabletop standard, on the right bases, with movement trays if you got ‘em.
Hobby mischief encouraged: Unit fillers, conversions, 3D prints, all the good crafty gubbins, yes please!
Shinies & Glory (Prizes)
Best General of Good Cheer
Best General of Evil Humour
Most Festive Army
Most Jolly Player
Grotmas Winner (the big cheese… or big grot)
So muster yer mob, polish yer bells and blades, and come make merry war under the Bad Moon. Grotmas only comes once a year, don’t waste it bein’ sensible!
